Appointment of Nanno Wams as Chief Financial Officer of ESI Group

With an international professional experience in the areas of company law, finance and a proven know- how in the areas of performance improvement and the implementation of reporting systems, Nanno Wams will strengthen the support to our various field operations and implement new tools and systems to further improve the Group’s profitability”.

Nanno Wams has law degrees in Dutch and international law from the University of Amsterdam (1983) and an MBA degree from the HEC School of Management in Paris (1991).

He started his professional career in 1983 as an attorney-at-law in the Brussels and Rotterdam office of Loeff and Van Der Ploeg, a law firm now practicing under the name Loyens & Loeff. He joined in 1987 the M&A team of ABN Bank, based in Amsterdam. From 1991 to 2006 he held various finance positions with Lafarge based in France, and as CFO in South Korea and Germany. In 2006, Nanno Wams joined Sodexo to become the CFO of their Remote Sites & Asia-Australia Division, based in Paris, where he initiated and oversaw the implementation of a new division finance organisation.
